An Interior Facelift for This Older Home in Bryn Mawr, PA
As the new homeowners so aptly put it, Mike Jasinski Painting recently completed a "facelift" of an interior painting job for buyers of a 1950s home in Bryn Mawr, PA. The entire interior was refreshed with colors suited to newer trends and the new owners' tastes.
To prepare for the job and protect their new purchase, we taped off and covered all flooring with plastic, construction-grade paper, and drop cloths. The next step in preparation was patching small ceiling and wall imperfections, followed by a light sanding of those surfaces to ensure a seamless paint application. Following that, we repaired any areas in the woodwork that were cracking with caulk. We then applied two coats of Sherwin-William's Emerald Water-based Urethane Semi-gloss Enamel to complete the woodwork.
As for the paint, for the ceilings we applied two coats of Sherwin-William's Pro-Mar Ceiling Paint, and for the walls, two coats of Sherwin-William's Duration Interior Matte in several colors including Nuance SW7049 and Repose Gray SW7015.
After a thorough clean up of the job site, the update was complete and ready for move-in. New homeowner Samantha C. said "We couldn't be happier with the quality of his work and working with Mike, and wouldn't think twice about hiring him again. We're already looking into booking him to power wash our house in the Spring!"
We're always thrilled to hear from satisfied clients, and are looking forward to working in Bryn Mawr with them again for their Springtime power wash.
