Customizing a Newly Purchased Home in Gladwyne, PA
Mike Jasinski Painting completed an interior painting update for new home buyers in Gladwyne, PA, who were hoping to finish a large portion of their home transformation, specifically the bedrooms, before their move-in date. The excited home owners went with a cool, classic look of neutral gray and what designers are referring to as the "new neutral", navy.
To prepare for the job and protect their new home, we taped off and covered all flooring and existing furniture with tape, plastic, construction-grade paper, and drop cloths. The next step in preparation was patching small ceiling and wall imperfections, followed by a light sanding of those surfaces to ensure a seamless paint application. Following that, we caulked any small gaps in the woodwork. We then applied two coats of Sherwin William's emerald water based urethane semi-gloss enamel to complete the woodwork.
As for the paint, for the ceilings we applied two coats of Sherwin-William's Pro-Mar Ceiling Paint, and for the walls, two coats of Sherwin-William's Duration Interior Matte in several colors including Nuance SW7049 and Repose Gray SW7015. For the ceilings, we applied two coats of Sherwin William's pro mar ceiling paint, and for the walls, two coats of Sherwin William's duration interior matte matched to Benjamin Moore's Hale Navy HC 154 and Benjamin Moore's Metropolitan AF 690.
After a thorough clean up of the job site, the update was complete and ready for move-in. We were thrilled with the sleek, sophisticated outcome of this interior customization in Gladwyne, PA, and more importantly, the new home owners were as well.
